How do I connect my Google Business Profile?
In the site editor's first step, click "Connect Google". You'll sign in with Google and authorize Linkgrove. If your Google account has multiple business locations, you'll be asked to select the correct one.
What happens when I connect Google?
Linkgrove imports your verified business information (name, address, phone, hours) from Google. This data appears on your site with a "Verified by Google" badge. Some fields become read-only because they're managed by Google.
Can I disconnect Google?
Yes. Go to the Google Business panel in your dashboard and click "Disconnect". Your business data stays on your site, but the fields become editable again and the verified badges are removed.
What does 'Google-managed field' mean?
When you connect Google, certain fields (like business name, address, phone) are synced directly from your Google profile. These show a badge indicating they're managed by Google and can't be edited in Linkgrove — you need to update them in Google Business Profile directly.
